In the weekly update on 21 November 2012 regarding dengue fever outbreak in Madeira since 3 October 2012, the National Health Authorities reported 1672 cases of dengue fever, as follows:

To date, only the DEN-1 strain of dengue fever has been reported in Madeira - more about Dengue virus.
The are no travel restriction recomended.

- Mainland Portugal 10
- Foreign citizens, confirmed by their national health service 17
